An established engineering services organisation is seeking a Service Sales Executive to support business growth across Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), service repairs, and spare parts.
The role combines new business generation with strong commercial administration and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Generate new sales opportunities via telemarketing, email campaigns, and web enquiries
Identify opportunities with existing and lapsed customers using CRM reporting
Liaise with project teams to propose PPM contracts following completed installations
Follow up quotations professionally with customers and internal teams
Maintain accurate CRM records (Simpro)
Commercial Administration
Prepare accurate and detailed customer quotations
Record and manage opportunity costings
Follow order‑winning procedures to ensure effective handover to operations
Maintain sales reporting in line with management requirements
Ensure purchase orders are received for all secured work
Provide regular order progress updates
Support finance with customer queries and cash collection
Schedule and attend key account review meetings
Customer Care
Conduct monthly Customer Satisfaction Interviews (CSIs)
Compile CSI results for management review
Escalate and track customer complaints to resolution
Candidate Requirements
Essential
Level 6 qualification in Marketing, Engineering, Business, or similar
Minimum 2 years' experience within HVAC, building services, controls & automation, or related engineering sector
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Desirable Skills & Attributes
Proven lead generation experience in a technical or engineering environment
Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
Strong organisational and time management skills
Commercially aware and results‑driven
Ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment
Ambition to progress into a broader sales or projects‑based role
