Job Overview
The Electrical Package Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the successful implementation of electrical systems within a project, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
* Project management duties involve orchestrating electrical systems packages to align with project requirements, incorporating schedule, costs, subcontractors, and day-to-day site operations.
* Close collaboration with the Project Manager, Safety Advisor, and QA Manager ensures adherence to safety and quality protocols, resulting in proper setup and closeout of files.
* Promoting a strong culture of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) across the team is essential for driving business excellence.
* Subcontractor performance monitoring, manpower allocation, snagging, and material/plant deliveries are critical aspects that require attention to ensure timely completion of projects.
Key Requirements
* A degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or relevant industry experience, serves as a solid foundation for this role.
* At least 5 years of experience in electrical supervision, engineering, or package management is required, preferably within the M&E contracting sector in Ireland or the UK.
* Demonstrated success in leading teams on large-scale projects with stringent deadlines enhances competitiveness for this position.
* Experience working on data centre projects would be highly valued.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications is expected.
