You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to influence sourcing strategy decisions. Your influencing skills will drive higher levels of spend to market and in turn deliver better outcomes for Verizon. You will collaborate on the development of statements of work, negotiate contracts, select suppliers and monitor their performance. Our purchasing power combined with your skills and expertise will help drive lower total cost for Verizon.Key Responsibilities:Perform market analyses to identify new emerging suppliers.Guide internal business partners through the source to contract process.Develop category strategies and associated annual savings plansLead complex contract negotiations that deliver lower total cost for VerizonValidate that suppliers uphold contract terms and conditions and in turn mitigate risk for VerizonWhat We’re Looking For...You understand the source to contract process. You have demonstrated experience leading global indirect categories or equivalent experience. You are a relationship builder, external suppliers see you as an invaluable partner and internal stakeholders see you as a trusted advisor. You have no problem prioritizing multiple simultaneous projects and you’re no stranger to tight timelines.
