Excel Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Forklift Driver with Reach and Counterbalance forklift licence to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and managing both Reach and Counterbalance to load and unload materials and deliveries. The salary is 30-32k depending on experience.
Responsibilities
* Safely and efficiently operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count materials
* Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
* Ability to read and interpret work orders to ensure proper material handling
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety procedures and regulations
* Communicate and coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a forklift operator
* Valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift certification
* Strong understanding of forklift safety and precautions
* Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Day-to-Day
* Operating Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to move materials across the warehouse
* Conducting safety checks before and after operating forklift
* Collaborating with team members to prioritize and complete tasks
Shift time
* 8am - 5pm
* Monday to Friday
