Arcadis are a seeking a E&I Project Engineer for an assignment located in Ringaskiddy, Cork. This is initially a 12-month contract. Responsibilities Coordinate and participate in the design, construction, and commissioning & qualification (C&Q) activities with a focus on Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) systems. Lead E&I projects for facility modifications and capital equipment procurement, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards. Provide technical E&I process support to project teams throughout the project life cycle, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise. Liaise with stakeholders, including engineering, production, quality, and external vendors, to ensure clear and effective communication on E&I-related matters. Supervise, direct, and coordinate the activities of vendor engineers and contractors during E&I works on capital projects to ensure safe and timely project delivery. Generate and execute E&I commissioning protocols and qualification activities, ensuring proper documentation and regulatory compliance. Manage E&I-related change controls using the electronic Quality Management System (QMS) and drive their closure in a timely manner. Participate in HAZOP, design reviews, and the management of E&I project engineering deliverables, including technical specifications, procurement submittals, and handover documentation. Requirements Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related discipline. 4+ years experience in E&I project engineering within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of GMP, safety systems of work (e.g., Permit to Work), and regulatory requirements for E&I systems. Proven experience in managing contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Why Join Arcadis?
