Opportunity: Supply Chain Specialist
Due to internal career growth opportunities, we are recruiting a new team member to join our supply chain department!
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3+ years supply chain experience
* Level 8 third level qualification
* MRP/SAP experience desirable
* Location: Onsite in Kinsale with an option of 4 days remote per month
Role Overview:
This position involves optimizing the end-to-end supply chain through effective execution of the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process. The goal is to maintain raw material and consumable inventory at optimal levels to meet safety stock and manufacturing needs, while minimizing excess stock and expiry risks. The role also entails ensuring adherence to inventory strategies for critical raw materials and consumables, resolving complex issues through cross-functional collaboration, leading process improvements, and managing scenario planning and risk analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and optimize supply chain processes to improve performance.
2. Lead process improvements aligned with business strategy.
3. Maintain strong vendor relationships through continuous collaboration.
4. Manage inventory proactively, maintaining safety stock while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
5. Participate in scheduling and planning meetings.
6. Engage in scenario planning and risk assessment.
7. Maintain accurate SAP master data including safety stock levels, PIR, lead times, and incoterms.
8. Collaborate across functions to prevent supply constraints.
9. Support quality and technical functions with vendor issues and change notifications.
10. Prepare and deliver supply chain reports and metrics.
11. Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
12. Perform other duties as required by the business.

* Relevant qualifications in purchasing or supply chain (advantageous)
