We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a key role within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts and ensuring the smooth delivery of projects.
1. Pre-Contract Responsibilities:
* Preparing capital cost estimates
* Advising on building economics
* Producing lifecycle cost estimates
* Drafting contract packages and advising on amendments to standard forms
2. Tendering Phase Responsibilities:
* Providing advice on tendering procedures
* Drafting instructions to tenderers
* Developing tender evaluation criteria
* Negotiating with tenderers
3. Post Contract Duties:
* Valuing progress on site for interim certificates
* Ascertainment of amounts due to contractors for price variation
* Valuing proposed instructions
* Determining amounts of claims
