Role Purpose
Reporting to the Head of Trading, this role will play a central part in delivering our strategy to remediate and transform the business by developing our data capability and delivering actionable insights. The role is broad in scope and encompasses (but is not limited to):
* Building out fit-for-purpose Management Information suite, ensuring accuracy and timely display using the best tools available within Cornmarket. Familiarity with Power BI & Salesforce would be advantageous
* Continuous monitoring of performance to plan across a broad suite of metrics including business, financial and operational
* Collaborating to develop conversion, retention and propensity modelling to support marketing spend decisions
* Identifying and actioning effective ways to engage customers and using technology to bring campaigns to life (Salesforce / Genesys / Applied)
* Optimising commissions & fees to drive positive business outcomes
* Developing and preparing trading packs and participating in insurer trading meetings
* Managing Renewal & Recanvas campaigns, measuring effectiveness, prioritising campaigns, and identifying high-potential segments based on data insights; coordinating with GI & Health Management to ensure campaigns are resourced
* Building close relationships with internal colleagues and external partners
* Handling ad hoc tasks as required
Accountabilities
* Support Trading Management to deliver the annual objective setting process
* Build data pipelines to solve business problems
* Maintain and improve reporting capability in trading/operations and financials
* Derive insights from analysis of large datasets and recommend potential business uses
* Use insights to build, measure and enable GI & Health Recanvas journeys
* Assist in developing models based on evidential data for forward planning
* Review model performances and adjust as required
* Support monthly production of monitoring processes for allocated classes
* Collaborate with internal and external counterparts to share best practices
* Build strong relationships with the Insurer panel and provide actionable insights
Skills & Knowledge
* Degree level education is desirable (scientific/analytic or business background)
* Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences
* Ability to translate business requirements for technical development
* Strong business process definition capabilities with ability to visualise processes
* Collaborative team player with strong partnering skills
* Introductory to developing project management skills in line with the company methodology
* Commercial awareness with a minimum of 2 years in a data/analytics role
* Strong critical thinking and decision-making
* Ownership and accountability for delivery
* Relationship-building and influencing skills
* Planning and organising with ability to manage multiple deadlines
