We are currently recruiting, on behalf of our client, for an experienced and dynamic Deputy General Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our busy 4-star hotel in Dublin. This is a pivotal role for a hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Operational Oversight: Assist the General Manager in overseeing all departments, ensuring smooth and efficient hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Events, and Maintenance. Guest Experience: Maintain a strong presence on the floor, regularly engaging with guests and staff to ensure high standards of service and customer satisfaction. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, motivate, and support department heads and their teams; drive performance through coaching, training, and appraisals. Revenue & Cost Control: Support in maximizing hotel revenue and profitability through effective cost management, upselling, and productivity improvements. Health & Safety / Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal, health & safety, and brand standards across all operations. Strategic Planning: Assist in implementing business strategies and initiatives to drive occupancy, guest loyalty, and profitability. Requirements: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a senior hotel management role, ideally within a 4-star or similar environment. Proven leadership and people management skills. Strong operational background with an eye for detail and a passion for service. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
