We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator position to manage the dispatch of products and ensure timely delivery.
This role involves taking orders, processing payments, and coordinating with drivers to optimize logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the dispatch of products and negotiate routes to minimize costs
* Process customer orders and arrange deliveries in accordance with service level agreements
* Provide product advice and liaise with sales/accounts staff to enhance customer experience
* Ensure compliance with environmental and safety management systems, and implement procedures to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
* Collaborate with subcontractors on health and safety matters, and participate in regular audits to maintain quality standards
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum 2 years experience in supply chain or logistics
* Strong IT skills and ability to use various systems, including route planning software
* Excellent geographic knowledge of the region and ability to navigate using maps and GPS
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines and targets
