Job Description:
The Internal Audit Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the organisation's internal control framework is robust and efficient.
* Define the scope of audit missions and ensure timely delivery of comprehensive inspection reports, which include detailed analysis and actionable recommendations.
* Lead a team of inspectors and coordinate with audited departments to manage timelines, deliverables, and overall project performance.
* Conduct diagnostic reviews to evaluate key risk management controls, assess the quality of audit work, and identify areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement an analysis and assessment plan that aligns with organisational objectives.
2. Organise and define cross-functional audit missions that promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.
3. Design and execute investigation and control plans that address specific business needs and risks.
4. Assess audit work and summaries produced by inspectors, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
5. Present findings and conclusions to audited parties and senior management, using clear and compelling communication skills.
Candidates should have at least 35 years of relevant experience in audit, risk management, or a similar role within the financial or professional services industry. They should possess strong analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
