We are seeking a highly motivated and meticulous Surgical Utilisation Administrator to join our team.
This crucial administrative role focuses on maximising the utilisation and profitability of the hospital's nine operating theatres.
Success in this role requires strong planning, foresight, initiative, and rigorous follow-up.
Reporting to: Surgical Scheduling and Utilisation Manager Purpose of the Role The primary goal is to ensure the full utilisation of all available surgical capacity by proactively reviewing schedules, managing booking forms, and filling unallocated theatre slots.
Key Responsibilities Capacity Management: Proactively review schedules to identify and efficiently fill potential gaps and cancelled slots.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the central point of contact, liaising with Consultants, Secretaries, and the Central Bookings Office to drive full slot allocation.
Data Analysis: Track theatre utilisation data, identify trends, and prepare concise reports for weekly management meetings.
