Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bus/Coach Drivers to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their destinations, ensuring a high standard of customer service and adherence to all traffic and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate buses/coaches on designated routes, ensuring timely and safe transportation of passengers.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.
Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries, offering route information, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel usage, and passenger counts.
Handle cash and electronic payments for fares, ensuring accurate accounting.
Respond appropriately to emergencies or incidents, including providing first aid if necessary and following company protocols.
Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Requirements
Valid Category D driving license (with CPC certification).
Proven experience as a bus/coach driver is preferred.
Excellent knowledge of Irish traffic laws and road safety regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
A clean driving record with no major violations.
Customer-focused with a friendly and professional attitude.
Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
