Job Description
As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a team to deliver high-quality social care in a safe and therapeutic environment. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a caring, stable, and professional environment within the home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting the Home Manager in setting standards for staff behavior and conduct.
* Developing clear knowledge and understanding of national standards and relevant legislation among staff.
* Undertaking the role of Designated Liaison Person (DLP) to support staff in their awareness and understanding of their duties as mandated reporters.
* Covering on-call duties when required.
* Supporting management in ensuring the day-to-day running of the home.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a supervisory role. They will also have a clear knowledge and understanding of national standards and relevant legislation.
