About the Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents in a supportive and respectful environment. Working alongside nursing and management staff, you'll help residents maintain their dignity, comfort, and independence in daily life.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal care and daily activities (dressing, bathing, eating, mobility, etc.)
* Support mealtime routines and ensure cleanliness after service
* Promote independence, respect, and wellbeing in all interactions
* Work collaboratively with the care team and support new colleagues
* Maintain accurate care documentation and uphold confidentiality
* Follow infection control, safeguarding, and health & safety procedures
* Contribute to a warm, friendly, and homely atmosphere for all residents

Requirements
* QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent)
* Previous care experience an advantage, but not essential
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to compassionate, person-centred care
