At the Galway Clinic, the above role is available on a full time permanent basis, 35 hours per week. The Role: To participate in all Invasive & Non Invasive Procedures. Cath Lab, Pacemakers and ICDs implants and follow-Ups experience Essential EP(Electrophysiology)-Desirable Non-invasive procedures: Echocardiography, Stress test, Holter/ Bp Monitoring, Desirable To participate in setting standards and satisfying expectations in the quality of care. To participate in the work practices established within the Cardiology Department. To be aware of legislation and amendments governing or affecting Cardiac Physiologist &/or Allied Health Professionals and issues of Health and Safety. To ensure that all reasonable precautions & safeguards are implemented for the provision of a safe work environment for all persons and clients required to be in the Cardiology Department in accordance with the current Health & Safety at Work Legislation. To ensure the safe, economical and correct use of all hospital equipment. To report faulty equipment to Bio-Engineering department. To assume Senior Cardiac Physiologist duties in the absence of the same. The Candidate: BSc in Clinical Measurement or Certificate in MPPM prior to 2005 or an equivalent qualification.
