About the Position My clients team of Software Engineers work as a close-knit team, largely onsite and maintain and support transaction processing services that are fundamental to the current trading environment.
This includes trade capture and enrichment, corporate actions, stock borrow loans and reconciliations.
The Dublin technology environment is a rich mix of proprietary software focused on delivering highly available, connected services for managing back office trading.
These systems are used throughout the company by both trading and back office teams.
Responsibilities You will be involved in the analysis, design and development of complex and business-critical software applications in a back/ middle office trading environment bringing strong software engineering skills to the role, along with an interest in applying the latest technology to the development of financial operations systems.
Analysis, design and development of complex and business-critical software applications; Taking projects through the entire cycle from requirements gathering to production release Constantly maintaining and tuning existing applications to meet evolving performance criteria as business changes Experience/Requirements Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience Experience of complex server-side software development in C# (open to Java or C++) Experience leading or contributing to the architecture of a complex business system Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with business analysts, operations personnel, and other software developers Distributed Systems: Experience in areas such of Kafka or building web APIs Databases: Experience with RDBMS particularly Oracle Experience developing systems in the financial industry Remuneration Package Not only is a leading salary on offer with this role but this client also offers incredible benefits and additional perks that you simply wont have anywhere else!
