An established organisation within the
electrical engineering and low-voltage (LV) switchgear industry
is seeking a
Sales & Service Manager
to support the growth of its
Site Services division
.
This is a hybrid role combining service-led sales, client relationship management, and coordination of site-based electrical works.
The successful candidate will focus on expanding preventative maintenance contracts, service works, and lifecycle upgrades, while supporting the planning and delivery of on-site activities across Ireland (and occasionally Europe).
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
* Develop and manage the
service sales pipeline
, including preventative maintenance (PM) contracts, service works, upgrades, surveys, and emergency call-out agreements
* Conduct site visits and client meetings to identify service and lifecycle opportunities
* Prepare proposals, quotations, scopes of work, and commercial documentation
* Achieve agreed
revenue targets and KPIs
* Build relationships with
main contractors, facilities management providers, and end users
Preventative Maintenance & Lifecycle Services
* Promote and grow
maintenance contracts
as a core revenue stream
* Develop service programmes aligned with
OEM recommendations and industry standards
* Identify lifecycle risks, end-of-life assets, and upgrade opportunities during site engagement
* Support long-term asset performance and reliability strategies for clients
Project Coordination & Service Delivery Support
* Coordinate planned maintenance, inspections, shutdowns, and service works
* Support scheduling and resource planning with internal engineers and subcontractors
* Ensure smooth
handover from projects to service
through structured documentation
* Monitor service progress and assist in resolving delivery or site-related issues
Client Relationship & Technical Advisory
* Act as a
trusted advisor
on electrical maintenance, LV switchgear, and lifecycle decisions
* Maintain strong client relationships and high service standards
* Attend site meetings, issue service reports, and ensure clear ongoing communication
Commercial & Administration
* Maintain accurate
CRM records
and prepare service sales reports
* Track service revenue, renewals, and margins
* Ensure all RAMS, certifications, and close-out documentation are completed correctly
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Lead by example in adhering to
Health & Safety and environmental standards
* Maintain awareness of relevant
IEC, BS, EN, and industry regulations
* Contribute to a professional, collaborative, and safety-first working environment
Required Experience & Skills
* 3-5+ years' experience in
technical sales, service management, or project coordination
within the
electrical or LV switchgear sector
* Strong understanding of LV electrical systems, switchgear, and maintenance requirements
* Proven ability to grow accounts and achieve
service or sales revenue targets
* Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
* Comfortable balancing commercial ownership with site-based coordination
* Full driving licence and flexibility to travel
* Fluent English and eligibility to work in Ireland
