Support Worker Role
Care Assistants are needed to provide personal support and care in residential and community settings. This role involves working with individuals to promote independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support tailored to individual needs
- Assist with daily living tasks including meals, mobility, and medication management
- Encourage independence and active participation in community life
- Maintain accurate records and follow established care plans and safeguarding procedures
- Collaborate with a team to ensure high-quality care standards are met
Requirements:
- Previous experience in care or support roles is desirable
- A Level 5 QQI qualification in Healthcare Support (or equivalent) is preferred
- Eligibility to work in Ireland (EU Passport, Stamp 4, 2, 1G, LAM5)
- Flexibility to cover day, night, and weekend shifts
- Garda vetting and professional references required
- Up-to-date training in Manual Handling, First Aid, and safeguarding would be advantageous
