* SITE ENGINEER
* DONEGAL
* Up to €75K + Vehicle + Pension + Package
Main contractor requires a site engineer to oversee the construction of a large-scale building project for at least 2 years in the local area.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of site-based construction experience, preferably in the Irish or UK construction sector.
Responsibilities include:
* Set out the works and ensure that site management and operatives clearly understand the information provided.
* Review information from drawings, specifications, etc., to ensure clarity for foremen, operatives, and subcontractors.
* Test materials as directed by your supervisor/line manager in accordance with relevant specifications.
* Conduct quality reviews on site, particularly regarding rebar and concrete placement.
* Review technical submissions before uploading to the design team to ensure correct areas of work are addressed.
* Oversee concrete testing and review results.
* Direct subcontractors in some instances regarding works to be carried out.
* Prepare technical method statements.
* Manage traffic on site, coordinating works within a busy location. Record daily activities and occurrences in your site diary.
* Attend meetings and follow directions as required.
