Job Opportunity: Restaurant Manager
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our daytime café/restaurant business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, leading a dynamic team, and coordinating our catering arm.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead, support, and motivate café and catering staff members
* Ensure exceptional customer service delivery on the café floor
* Manage staffing levels, rotas, hiring, and training processes
* Drive sales growth and maintain high operational standards
* Coordinate catering bookings, menu planning with the head chef, and logistics management
* Monitor stock levels, supplier relationships, and cost controls
* Enforce food hygiene, health & safety, and quality standards
* Respond to customer feedback and handle operational issues professionally
* Understand and manage key business metrics (KPIs)
* Assist in strategic business planning and development
Requirements:
* A self-motivated leader with a passion for delivering exceptional service standards
* Strong communication skills and ability to deal with staff, customers, and suppliers effectively
* Hospitality industry experience, preferably in café, hospitality, or catering management
* Strong leadership, organisational, and multitasking abilities
* Confidence in working both front-of-house and behind the scenes with administrative tasks
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with a 'can-do' attitude
