Tymon parkrun is a series of 5k events at 9:30am every Saturday at Tymon Park.
Volunteers are fundamental to the delivery of all events, and carry out roles such as setting up the event, marshaling, timekeeping, scanning, handing out finish tokens or tail walking, to name just a few.
We encourage each event to have as many volunteers as they can and to never turn down an offer from someone to volunteer. A course can never have too many Marshals and multiple Tail Walkers can make the event even more fun
Volunteers are welcome to be accompanied by their children. However, volunteers may find themselves in challenging situations, so volunteers must be mindful of this at all times.
Details and videos on all the volunteer roles available can be found here: https://volunteer.parkrun.com/principles/volunteer-roles

Open House Dublin 2025
Open House Dublin 2025 will be held from 11th October - 19th October 2025
Each year more than two hundred and fifty people volunteer their time and skills to help us bring Open House Dublin to thousands of people across the city and county.
Many volunteers have been with us since the beginning and have an abundance of knowledge and expertise about the city, its architecture, and the stories and histories that make Dublin unique, and every year we welcome new volunteers to our Open House family.
We are looking for volunteers who are friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about the city. We are seeking volunteers for varied roles including:
* Volunteer Runners
* Volunteer Stewards
* Volunteer Tour Guides
* Volunteer Area Managers
Benefits of Volunteering with Open House
We offer new experiences and skills, as well as providing a great opportunity to learn more about architecture and the built environment, and to share your knowledge and interests with others. Our volunteering opportunities are flexible and open to all.
Volunteers must be 18 years or older. If you have further questions about volunteering which aren't answered here, please contact volunteers@architecturefoundation.ie or call 01 8747203
