Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for soliciting supplier quotations, analyzing cost breakdowns, and managing supplier communications.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Buyer and possess purchasing specific qualifications. System experience in Microsoft office and ERP systems is also desirable.
This role requires a deep understanding of procurement methods, systems, and tools, as well as knowledge of procurement regulations, workflows, and documentation standards. Logistics coordination skills, including awareness of supply chain logistics and inventory management best practices, are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Solicit supplier quotations and analyze cost breakdowns
* Manage supplier communications and ensure adherence to internal procurement procedures
* Lead and support resource projects, resolving procurement challenges and addressing invoice-related discrepancies
* Coordinate supplier onboarding processes and foster strong, ongoing vendor relationships
