Our team is seeking a highly skilled Legal Director to lead all legal aspects of EU and cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, and strategic investments. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience focused on M&A, corporate transactional law including both law firm and in-house roles.
About the Role
The Legal Director will oversee the coordination of due diligence and specialist advisory work, ensuring timely progress, transparency, and issue escalation as needed. This includes sector-specific, regulatory and antitrust matters; advising business leaders on key transactional risks and mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Drafting complex transaction documentation including share purchase agreements, investment agreements, shareholder agreements.
* Negotiating with external counsel as appropriate to ensure high-quality outcomes.
* Designing M&A legal playbooks templates processes to promote aligned execution across European business units jurisdictions.
Skill Requirements
The successful candidate must hold a Law degree (LL.M.) or equivalent) admission practice at least one EU jurisdiction. Extensive experience handling multi-jurisdictional transactions joint ventures within Europe underpins this role.
