OverviewRyanair are currently recruiting for a Reliability Engineer to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!This is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to over 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 10 years.The RoleReporting to the Reliability Manager, the Technical Services Reliability Engineer will work with Boeing, Airbus and OEMs to drive reliability improvement into Ryanair’s operation, participate in reviews with world-wide operators and influencing reliability priorities.The Technical Services Reliability Engineer will work within a dedicated team and provide support in the following areas:The review and analysis of maintenance data relating to components and systems, the identification and resolution of reliability alerts, and identification of solutions for repetitive delay causes.Perform detailed cost/benefit analysis of reliability improvement options and making solid recommendations to direct manager.Review of manufacturer and OEM Service Bulletins relating to reliability improvements and making recommendations on benefits of their implementation in the fleet. Liaising with Boeing, Airbus and equipment manufacturers on resolution of technical issues.Analysis of aircraft dispatch reliability and creation of technical reports.RequirementsDegree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineer or B-1/B-2/CAT A licenseGood technical knowledge of the B737NG, A320 and B737-8200 aircraft.Flexible approach with project delivery being a high priority.Excellent written and spoken communication skills.Good working knowledge of AMOS would be preferable.Computer literate, with working knowledge of Word and Excel.Ability to work with minimal supervision in a collaborative team environment.Strong attention to detail in multi-tasking situations and the ability to deliver results to tight timelines.Discounted and unlimited travel to over 230 destinationsDefined Contribution Pension SchemeDeath in Service Benefit – Up to 2 times of annual basic salary20 Days Annual Leave – Increasing to 22 days after 12 months and 25 days after 3 years of continuous service.Option for up to 5 additional unpaid leave days per year
