Senior Mechanical Engineer
Join a leading engineering firm delivering high-profile pharmaceutical projects where you’ll take ownership of the mechanical package. This includes HVAC, piping, process equipment installation, and utility systems, all designed and installed to GMP standards. You’ll work with 3D modelling and BIM tools, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance from installation through commissioning. This is a chance to lead critical mechanical systems on a complex, fast-moving pharmaceutical facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate project schedules in conjunction with project team.
Monitor project work progress.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
Project engineering submissions and value engineering.
Project procurement and materials management.
Project build review and interaction with co-contractors.
Designing and modelling in 3D using Autodesk 3D software.
Evaluating final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety.
Interacting and managing Clients, CMT, Suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Carry out Quality Control through inspections and snagging including walking down of P&ID’s, and layout drawings.
Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:
Relevant third level qualification in Mechanical / Building Services
Knowledge and understanding of both HVAC and Piping Systems.
Have a good level of knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit & BIM software systems.
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience post qualification.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate detailed monthly reports.
Have a positive attitude with a passion to learn & succeed, an energetic approach and an ability to take accountability.
