About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, multi-site engineering organisation as a Senior HR Advisor in their Monaghan office. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Management Team to deliver a high performing, employee focused HR service.
The Job Description:
The Senior HR Advisor will be responsible for advising managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law (ROI and/or NI). They will manage employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence. Additionally, they will lead end-to-end recruitment campaigns and support onboarding, coordinate training and development activities, and contribute to wider Learning & Development strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law (ROI and/or NI)
2. Manage employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence
3. Lead end-to-end recruitment campaigns and support onboarding
4. Coordinate training and development activities and contribute to wider L&D strategy
5. Assist in implementing HR systems and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
* 3-5 years' experience in a generalist HR role
* CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
* In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
* Organised, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
