The Role
As an experienced quantity surveyor, you will lead professional quantity surveying and construction cost consultancy services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of contract documents, including bills of quantities and tender documentation.
* Act as project quantity surveyor on public and private sector projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and schedule.
* Maintaining strong relationships with clients and team members.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a quantity surveyor or similar role.
* Leadership in procurement and cost management for public and private sector projects.
* Strong background in quantity surveying, preferably in consultancy rather than contracting.
* Bachelor's degree (Hons) in quantity surveying.
* Registration under the Building Control Act or eligibility for registration.
* Familiarity with quality assurance processes and team management in medium to large QS practices.
* Proficiency in software such as Buildsoft Cubit, Cost X, or equivalents.
* Excellent communication and IT skills.
* Chartered status with SCSI RICS is preferred.
