Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, as well as excellent administrative and data entry skills.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and monitor financial data, including sales revenues, costs, liabilities, and assets.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee bank and balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Prepare audit files and support liaising with auditors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Organize internal audits, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets for the company and by department, monitoring and reporting on accounting discrepancies.
- Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments, analyzing financial trends and market conditions.
- Prepare timely VAT/Intrastat returns through ROS, ensuring accurate and compliant submissions.
- Provide general administration and office filing support, maintaining organized records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2/3 years experience in overall accounts, with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
- Excellent administration and data entry skills, with full knowledge of MS Office Suite and Revenue online procedures.
- Proficiency in Netsuite is an advantage, but not essential.
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software, with the ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
