The role
We are working with a manufacturing client in Co. Galway who are looking to hire an experienced R&D Technician to join their team as they continue to expand. This is a permanent role with excellent opportunity to grow and progress.
Key Responsibilities
Build, modify, and test prototype systems for laboratory and field validation.
Support engineering teams with functional, environmentaland durability testing.
Validate hardware, software and system performance in real-world applications.
Assemble and configure test equipment and support product verification activities.
Perform diagnostics, fault findingand root cause analysis.
Document test results, findingsand improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with engineers and end users to gather product feedback.
Requirements
Technical qualification in Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automationor related discipline.
2+ years’ experience in electromechanical assembly, testing or similar environment.
Experience working with mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to interpret test data and use measurement equipment.
Basic understanding of software functionality and system testing.
Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
Full driving licence required.
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop.
