This process informs the development of requirements into effective training programs and the creation of annual training plans with corresponding teaching materials. They develop instructional materials, conduct training sessions with the operations department, and assess the effectiveness of training programs. They stay updated on trends in employee development and ensure that training reflects any changes in operations. As a Production trainer, the role will be to support the operations department in identifying and ensuring team training compliance with GMP/GDP requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team is adequately trained to adhere to regulations, guidance, industry best practices, and internal policies and procedures. In this position, you will work closely with operations functionsWhat are the key responsibilities?Manages and implements key systems, processes and proceduresBuilds team ownership and accountability in relation to operations trainingProvides training to the teamOrganises and controls all relevant documentationResponsible for team and stakeholder communications; link between the team and all relevant functions; project updates, issues log, metrics, and other key communicationsDevelops current training processes/systemsDelivers training and development programs and servicesAssists in the design and development of training programs.Creates best practice training materialsAssists in the evaluation and optimisation of training systems and procedures.Identifies and analyses training and development needs of the direct labour organisationMeasures and continually improves the effectiveness of training and development initiativesWorks closely with Operations, Quality, Inventory, Shipping, H & S, Engineering, operators on training initiativesProvides direction and support for the Training SystemEnsure all training and tracking practices comply with the regulatory requirementsSupports audit activities in all internal and external auditsPerform other assigned tasks and support all aspects of Operations as directed by the Production SupervisorWhat education and experience are required?Minimum of four years' experience in a medical device ISO 13485 registered facilityAbility to read and understand manufacturing and production information, including production drawings, work orders, and related manufacturing and quality specificationsProficient in MS Office applications.
