Our client based in Co.
Limerick have an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC individual to join their team and become an expert in an industry that is at the fore-front of manufacturing technology.
This role would be ideally suited to mechatronic maintenance technicians with experience working in a manufacturing factory environment.
This role will provide you with excellent benefits plus vehicle and fuel card for travelling that is required.
Duties Involve
Setting up and optimizing new CNC machinery at customer sites.
Rapidly responding to critical faults, diagnosing issues, and restoring machine operation (reactive maintenance).
Performing routine servicing, health checks, and preventative maintenance to avoid future breakdowns.
Repairing issues with spindles, hydraulics, pneumatics, ballscrews, linear rails, etc.
Diagnosing problems with control systems (Fanuc, Siemens), drives, PLCs, and wiring.
Offering technical advice, training operators, and building strong customer relationships.
Completing service reports, jobsheets, and maintaining accurate machine history.
Ensuring compliance with site and company H&S regulations, including Lock-Off procedures.
Skills Required
5+ years' experience working on CNC and/or PLC controlled manufacturing equipment.
Electrical and Mechanical fault finding knowledge and understanding.
Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic principles and systems.
Experience of CNC code and Ladder Logic.
The ability to read system schematics.
Excellent communication skills.
Clean drivers license.
