We currently have a vacancy for:
Role: CNC Machine Operator/Setter - Turning
Overall Objective: To ensure effective operation of turning CNC Lathes, including Deco, Citizen, Nakamura and Miyano machines.
Reporting to: Line Leader
Hours: 39 hours per week (Various shifts available across 7 day week and 24 hour day)
Responsibilities & Duties:
· Select program and load to machine
· Setting of cutting tools, speeds and feeds to job package specification
· Achieving competitive cycle times and production targets
· Ensure quality standards of products manufactured are met through quality inspection & measurement of parts
· Machine and tooling preventive maintenance plans
· Technical troubleshoot machine and process
· Tooling and Material re ordering
· Participate in continuous improvement
· Maintain cleanliness of machine and surrounding area
· Keep supervisor and/or QC informed of any issues
· Maintain health and safety standards for the area
· Any other duties as reasonably required
Qualifications & Experience:
· Relevant manufacturing experience in CNC Turning Operations
· Experience of shift work
Person/Skills Required:
· Good verbal reasoning, numerate ability and mechanical aptitude skills
· Knowledge of and ability to understand technical drawings
· Excellent communication skills
· Good knowledge and understanding of computers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to €38,000.00 per year
