As a Technical Service Engineer, you will join a team of experienced engineers providing technical support to Automated Infusion Systems (AIS). This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic, collaborative, and professional engineering team, with exposure to international projects.
Core responsibilities include:
1. Service, repair, and maintenance of infusion devices and accessories.
2. Engage in technical repairs, both preventative and corrective, at customer sites or other locations.
3. Lead or assist with on-site installation and commissioning of infusion equipment.
4. Lead and assist in field and workshop projects for updates and upgrades of infusion devices and software.
5. Provide technical and user support training (locally and in Germany) for B. Braun products and related equipment.
6. Respond promptly and accurately to customer queries and provide support as needed.
7. Develop and maintain technical competency to work independently and confidently.
8. Willingness to learn and embrace emerging technologies in medical devices.
9. Maintain commercial awareness and market orientation.
10. Travel throughout Ireland to support customers, as required.
11. Collaborate with team members to achieve organizational objectives for both Technical Service and Sales teams.
12. Assist with spare parts stock management and record keeping.
13. Understand and adhere to business policies and procedures.
14. Participate in activities that benefit the team and customers.

Basic Requirements:
1. Qualification in electronic, electrical, mechanical, biomedical engineering, or similar technical discipline.
2. Strong IT and communication skills.
3. Experience in infusion device maintenance and repair, and IT hardware is desirable.
4. Comfortable working in clinical settings and interacting with healthcare professionals.
5. Knowledge of EU directives for medical devices (e.g., MDR, EN, ISO standards).
6. Full clean driving license.
7. Willingness to travel across Ireland and further as needed.
