IT Infrastructure Engineer Location: Limerick (Fully Onsite) Fixed Contract Type Start Date: ASAP Overview PFH Technology is currently recruiting for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team supporting a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing client. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and deploying critical IT infrastructure solutions across manufacturing, laboratory, and process automation environments. This role requires strong infrastructure expertise combined with an understanding of regulated environments, cybersecurity, and operational technology platforms. Key Responsibilities Support, maintain, and deploy IT infrastructure solutions across Manufacturing, Laboratory, and Process Automation environments. Administer and support enterprise infrastructure platforms including servers, storage, virtualization technologies, networks, printers, scanners, and handheld devices. Ensure compliance with GxP, Cybersecurity, Data Integrity, and regulatory requirements within a pharmaceutical environment. Support Active Directory, DNS, domain services, user permissions, and authentication platforms. Manage endpoint security solutions, antivirus platforms, workstation patching, and device lifecycle activities. Support Azure Intune, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and SOTI environments. Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability. Support enterprise backup and recovery solutions and contribute to disaster recovery planning activities. Utilise ServiceNow and ITSM processes to manage incidents, service requests, change controls, documentation, and SLA compliance. Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to deliver infrastructure improvements and operational excellence. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments. Experience with Windows Server administration, Gxp and workstation support. Knowledge of virtualization technologies including Citrix. Experience supporting storage platforms, networking technologies, and endpoint devices. Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, domain connectivity, and user access management. Experience with enterprise backup and recovery solutions. Experience managing endpoint security and patch management technologies. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and SOTI. Experience using ServiceNow and ITIL-aligned service management processes. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities across infrastructure technologies. Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered. Preferred Experience Experience working within pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or other regulated environments. Knowledge of GxP compliance requirements. Understanding of Cybersecurity and Data Integrity principles. Familiarity with ISA S95 Architecture and Operational Technology (OT) environments. Experience supporting manufacturing or laboratory systems.
