Lab Maintenance Specialist
The role of a Lab Maintenance Specialist is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of laboratory facilities.
* Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is functioning correctly, thus minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity.
* Troubleshoot problems with utilities equipment as necessary, utilizing technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
* Document site activities before and after work tasks, ensuring transparency and accountability.
* Update MTLs (Maintenance Task Lists) as appropriate, aligning with operational goals and objectives.
Essential Skills:
* Senior Trades or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/Building Services engineering, preferably with experience in laboratory settings.
* Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent, preferably mechanical/environmental, with a focus on utilities systems.
* Proven experience in mechanical/building services or marine industries, with a track record of delivering results.
* Strong understanding of basic fundamentals of utilities systems, including pumps, HVAC systems, air compressors, boilers, and more.
* Excellent computer literacy and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
