Job descriptionRole OverviewWe are hiring for a Maintenance Technician to join our team on site in St. Margarets. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the executing, monitoring and recording of the maintenance breakdowns and breakdown follow upsKey Responsibilities· Carry out preventative and condition-based maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and perform electro-mechanical repairs on high-speed, PLC-controlled equipment.· Provide technical support across plant services including compressed air, refrigeration, steam, pneumatics, and hydraulics.· Monitor and optimise machine performance, responding quickly to any performance issues during production.· Record maintenance activities accurately using the CMMS, including daily inputs, parts usage, and work completed.· Support equipment installations and modifications, working closely with suppliers and contractors.· Demonstrate strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, with flexibility to work shifts and participate in the on-call rota.· Hold relevant electrical/instrumentation qualifications, with proven experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.What You’ll NeedPossess electrical maintenance experience and/or qualifications.Excellent awareness and experience in relation to Quality, Health, and SafetyBe familiar with planned preventative maintenanceExperienced in fault finding and problem solvingComprehensive Knowledge of high-speed mechanical systems, electrical systems, automation, and PLC control systemsKnowledge and experience in Maintenance strategy, Maintenance organisation and systemsEducation & Qualifications:Possess relevant trade qualification Required.Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role in regulated manufacturing environment (POST APPRENTICESHIP)Benefits:· Staff discount at company Farm Shop and subsidized canteen· Free On-site parking with access to electric chargers· Wellness Initiatives such as wellness week10% BonusSalary- 54,000 Per annum.Shifts- 5 out of 7 including nights if needed.Job Type: Full-timePay: Up to €55,000.00 per yearWork Location: In personReference ID: Pranay
