Job Title:
Resident Site Engineer
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Site Engineer to oversee the Enabling works for the Foynes to Limerick Road (Including Adare Bypass) project.
* Draft and administer progress reports, monthly valuations, claims determination letters, and other contractor correspondence.
* Ensure detailed records of all aspects of project progress are kept and available for inspection by authorised personnel.
* Keep records of delays, industrial disputes, adverse physical conditions, and disputes with sub-contractors and landowners.
* Attend regular site meetings and ensure proceedings are recorded for circulation to relevant personnel.
* Maintain awareness of Safety, Health and Welfare at Work legislation and its provisions.
* Liaise with statutory undertakers and stakeholders as required.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Supervising Enabling works contracts including Site Clearance, Fencing, Ground Investigation, Environmental Surveys, etc.
2. Ensuring compliance with Employer Design Public Works Contract PWC CF3.
3. Preparing and maintaining detailed records of project progress.
4. Coordinating with contractors, sub-contractors, and landowners to resolve issues and delays.
5. Conducting regular site inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
6. Developing and implementing effective communication strategies with site staff and stakeholders.
Requirements:
