Job Overview
As a Senior Incident Response Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team that delivers top-notch cyber security services to clients across various industries. Your primary focus will be on rapid deployment and threat hunting with various EDR tools, digital forensics, malware analysis, and post-breach security operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deploy and operate various EDR tools such as VMware Carbon Black EDR, CrowdStrike, Windows Defender ATP/MDE, and others
* Conduct threat hunting activities, including identifying potential threats, gathering intelligence, and implementing countermeasures
* Develop and deliver incident reports detailing the threat actor's entry vector, activities, recovered artifacts, malware, and incident timeline
* Assess complex client infrastructures for vulnerabilities and anomalies
You must have a strong passion for technology and cyber security, with a few (or many) years of experience in IT and security roles. You should possess knowledge across a wide variety of IT technologies, including networks, operating systems, virtualizations, and cloud infrastructure. A firm understanding of the incident life cycle and core digital forensics is also essential.
Formally held roles such as system administrator, security engineer, network engineer, software/web engineer, incident responder, or SOC analyst are highly desirable.
