A leadingglobal technology services organisationis hiring an IT Application Support Engineer (German-speaking)to supportmission-critical healthcare applicationsused by hospitals across the EU.
This role sits within a high-profile healthcare support environment, providing technical support for Cardiology and Radiology systemsand their underlying infrastructure—systems that play a direct role in patient care and clinical workflows.
Key Responsibilities Act as first-line support for application incidents, issues, and service requests Log, categorise, and prioritise tickets using an ITSM tool, ensuring SLA compliance Perform basic troubleshooting across applications, servers, storage, and databases Monitor application dashboards and respond to system alerts Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams with clear technical documentation Maintain accurate case records in line with ITIL best practices Collaborate with infrastructure, integration, and application teams Contribute to knowledge base articles and continuous improvement initiatives Required Skills & Experience Experience in IT application or systems support Working knowledge of Windows/Linux environments Basic database and storage awareness (connectivity, capacity, logs)Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills German (B2 or higher) and English (B2 or higher)Desirable IT degree or relevant certifications (ITIL preferred)Healthcare IT experience (HL7, DICOM, Cardiology or Radiology systems)If this opportunity aligns with your career goals and you are ready for your next move, please send your CV to or call for a discussion.
