The duration of this post is12 monthsinitially with possible extensions thereafter. This role will be based inSoutheast (Kilkenny & Carlow).Working35 hours per week,the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of€28.04 per hourbased on anannualised salary of €51,206You willaccrue 30 days annual leaveper year and paid Bank Holidays.Access to appropriatetransportwith a fullDriving Licenceis essential to fulfil the requirements of this role.Responsibilities may include, but are not restricted to:Geographical based to provide onsite support in specific site or multiple sites i.e. mobilePrioritise, manage and responding to Service Desk calls in a timely manner logged on the service desk system, including travel to sites to support users within our geographical regionEstablish and build on good working relationship with customersTroubleshoot and if required, referral of hardware faults to third partiesWhere appropriate, assign warranties on hardware to third partiesSystem administration using Active DirectorySet up / amend Windows accounts/mailboxesAccess and update email branding site for new and staff moversManagement of generic NCHD accounts and profilesAssist the networks team when necessaryBroadband site support, troubleshoot and diagnose problems. Liaise with the user broadband supplier and / or network support where faults occurTroubleshoot system problems, diagnose and solve software faults e.g. CitrixInstall and configure computer hardware and peripherals, operating systems and applicationsInvolvement with the roll-out of new systems National and Local (IPMS, NIMIS, ENDORAAD, TRACK&TRACE etc.) and systems through Service IntroductionSystem Administration – amend privileges / security permissions on server shares, setup of new shared folders on existing sharesLiaison with IPMS, NIMIS and Lab systems admin personnel regarding account setupsManage pst requests and data requests for staff movesLiaise with third party vendors for software \ hardware installationsSupport for new sites, installations of hardware in new locations and co-ordinating office moves to other sitesDeal with 'how to' and information requests including data security and ICT policiesLiaison with local and national ICT teams, e.g. Server and Network managementInstall individual software requestsManaged Print devices – liaise with vendors including IP informationArrange, follow or advise information regarding disposal of old or obsolete equipmentAccess consoles to push or provide solutions for requests e.g. Content encryptionCarry out backup routines and tape changes in some casesFollow and adhere to SD processes, procedures and follow escalation process and other matters as appropriateOther:Coordinate office activities to secure efficiency and compliance to procedures and processesCreate and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other dataSubmit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assignedAssist colleagues as requestedExperience:Must have a minimum of 1 years' experience working in an IT Support environmentMust demonstrate experience of having an excellent working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite and report writing.Demonstrate good problem solving, analytical and decision-making skillsDemonstrate evidence of production of quality deliverablesDemonstrate understanding of Irish Healthcare systemBusiness Competencies:Excellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to organise work with an organized mannerSelf-starter with a willingness to take responsibilityThe ability to interact with key stakeholders in a professional mannerEducation:Third Level Education Qualification is preferable.*This position may be subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance, if applicable you will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role*Unijobs is an equal opportunities employer
