As we continue to grow, we're looking for a talented
Bid Writer
to join our Business Development team and play a key role in winning new business and shaping our future success.
The Role
This is a newly created role where you'll lead on, coordinate, and write compelling tenders and proposals. You'll work closely with subject matter experts across the company and ensure that our submissions are of the highest quality, while also managing our content libraries and tendering systems.
What you will do
* Bid writing & coordination
– managing the full lifecycle of tender opportunities, from identification to submission.
* Content management
– creating, organising, and maintaining high-quality reusable proposal content, including case studies, CVs, and method statements.
* Opportunity tracking
– monitoring tender portals (Ireland, UK, and Europe), managing pre-qualification systems, and maintaining accurate records.
* Collaboration
– working with senior stakeholders and technical experts to gather the best possible inputs.
* Reporting
– supporting the team with metrics such as win rates, bid values, and pipeline reporting.
About You
We're looking for someone who can balance excellent writing skills with strong organisational ability and stakeholder engagement.
Essential skills & experience:
* Proven experience in bid writing, bid management, or content management.
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
* Proficiency in MS Word (advanced), Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams).
Desirable:
* Knowledge of GIS and/or data analytics.
* Experience using proposal development software or CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot).
* Skills in MS Excel, databases, or Power BI for reporting.
* Membership of APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) or similar.
* Relevant degree or professional qualification.
