They have a significant market share across the northeast which is attributed to their exceptionally talented workforce, strategic planning and adoption of new technologies & methodologies making them a trendsetter within the sector.As a Senior Member of the firm your role will encompass a broad range of duties including the following:Leading, mentoring, and managing the Audit and Accounts team ensuring effective use of resources and skill development which will include conducting periodic performance appraisals.Ensuring all engagements are completed in line with professional standards and compliance, in accordance with deadlines and agreed timeframes.Providing training and professional development opportunities for the team.The overseeing and reviewing of statutory financial statements, and accounts files for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.Maintaining and developing strong client relationships.Identifying client needs, offering tailored solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality services as well as identifying opportunities to cross-sell services existing clientsParticipating in new business development by attending meetings with prospective clients, preparing proposals, and assisting in winning new business.Managing the profitable recoverability of work in progress, and ensuring monthly agreed targets for billable work are achieved.Attending staff meetings and training as required.This really is a people-focused operation who understand the importance of attracting and retaining the highest calibre individuals. They deliver a first-class service across 4 offices to a diverse range of clients, locally, nationally and internationally. Candidates should have significant experience in audit and accounts preparation and extensive experience in leading audits and managing client relationships. You have a successful track record managing and leading teams with a strong technical knowledge, e.g., UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS and ISA’s. You definitely have a commercial mindset to identify opportunities for growth and improvement for both clients and the firm and are at the point in your career where you are ready to move into a top tier role with a defined path to partnership in an organisation that puts work life balance at the centre of their culture.
