Protection & Control Design Engineer
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Protection & Control Design Engineer to lead and collaborate with a passionate team on projects up to 400kV. The ideal candidate will have expertise spanning from concept to detailed design, construction, and energisation.
The successful candidate will develop scoping documentation, Main Connections & Protection Diagrams, review Protection & Control Designs developed by third parties, specify P&C related equipment and plant, produce detailed designs including AC/DC schematics, conduct protection grading studies, and review Commissioning Plans and attend Commissioning Panel meetings.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Principal/Lead/Senior Protection & Control Engineer to showcase their knowledge of protection relays and relay panels, CT & VT sizing calculations, protection grading studies, and producing detailed AC/DC drawings. Familiarity with UK electrical practices and standards and an understanding/appreciation of CDM regulations is essential.
