Our client, a leading global financial institution, is seeking an accomplished Senior Financial Reporting Leader to join their top-performing Funds team.
This strategic leadership role requires an experienced professional with exceptional technical expertise and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will oversee the preparation and review of complex financial statements for a diverse portfolio of investment funds, ensuring full compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
As a key member of the financial reporting team, you will be responsible for:
* Leading the Preparation and Review of Financial Statements
* Ensuring Compliance with Accounting Standards
* Collaborating with Clients and Auditors
* Providing Technical Guidance and Support
The successful candidate will possess a strong background in financial accounting, ideally within fund administration or a Big 4 environment, with experience in preparing financial statements for mutual funds, hedge funds, or other complex fund structures. A professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is highly desirable. In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and reporting frameworks, including IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 7+ years of financial accounting experience, preferably within fund administration or a Big 4 environment

* In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and reporting frameworks, including IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP
* Hands-on experience with financial reporting tools such as Confluence
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills
