Define and maintain network security policies, standards, and hardening baselines
Design secure network architectures including segmentation, DMZ, remote access, and third-party connectivity.
Improve network telemetry and logging integration to enhance detection and incident response
Experience
10+ years industry experience, including 5+ years in network security or cyber engineering
Strong experience securing enterprise networks using NGFW, SD-WAN, and NAC technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ISE, Meraki)
Expertise in network segmentation, secure remote access, third-party connectivity, and cloud networking
Experience embedding security controls within operational network environments
Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP Security, or equivalent
Key Skills
Strong understanding of defence-in-depth and zero trust networking
Ability to translate security policy and risk into practical standards and controls
Experience analysing firewall policies, traffic flows, and network logs
Strong stakeholder engagement with network operations, NOC, and engineering teams
Experience integrating network telemetry with SIEM/SOC monitoring
Knowledge of hybrid cloud networking architectures
Broader cyber engineering experience (e.g., cloud security or email security)
