Wave Dynamics Acoustic Consultants ( ) are seeking a Field Engineer to join our acoustics team. The hybrid role will be based from our Dublin or Wexford office. (Note if based in the Wexford office the role will include travel to sites in Dublin).
Wave Dynamics are a market leader in the delivery of acoustic consultancy services. We work on milestone projects in Ireland and the UK mainly focused on the built environment.
We are a dynamic and progressive acoustic consultancy and we are seeking to expand our team to assist with our current workload. The role will include a training and development plan for the right candidate to enable them to grow and develop their career in acoustics.

About the Role
* This role is at junior level.
* The role will include site testing and environmental noise measurements.
* This role will involve working on your own initiative and as part of a larger team.
* Undertaking reporting as required.
Minimum Requirements:
* Full drivers licence.
* Ability to work on your own initiative.
* Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
* A track record of delivering and managing projects.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree in an engineering related discipline.
* Experience in sound testing or environmental noise measurements.
* SITRI certification is desired but not required.
General Duties:
* Site testing for sound insulation.
* Deploying and collecting noise loggers.
* Undertaking attended surveys for environmental noise.
* Install and collection of vibration monitors.
* Deploying and collecting noise, vibration and dust equipment.
* Test report writing.
* Organising and managing testing and surveys.
* Managing calibrations for equipment.
* Data Analysis.
* Preparing for site surveys.
* Updating templates for survey documents.
* Assisting the consultants where required with environmental noise data collection and analysis.
Other Duties:
* Other duties as required.
* Preparation of safety documents for site deployments and testing.
