About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Administrator to join our team. This role acts as a vital link between day and night operations, ensuring smooth communication, accurate data management, and efficient freight handling. You will support the operational flow, manage documentation, and contribute to maintaining a high standard of service within our network.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise between day and night operations teams to ensure effective handovers.
* Manage inbound and outbound manifests and handle general inbound load enquiries.
* Engage with customers to debrief and provide updates regarding their freight.
* Record, track, and manage operational data and freight volumes.
* Work collaboratively with all team members and across the wider network to coordinate and document operational tasks.
* Prepare and maintain daily operational documentation and reports.
* Handle general network and operational queries efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with company procedures and service quality standards.
* Uphold health and safety regulations for all staff and visitors, reporting any concerns as necessary.
Requirements
* Previous experience in an administrative operations role, however full training will be provided.
* Highly self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
* Excellent communication both verbal & written.
* Due to limited public transport links to the site, a full driver's license and access to your own transport is preferred.
Working Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 6:30pm (8.5-hour shift)
Hybrid Working: Available after successful completion of the probationary period
