Job Title: Quality/Technical Manager- Food Manufacturing

Job Description: Our client, a leading food manufacturing facility based in Monaghan, are currently recruiting for a Quality/Technical Manager to join the existing Quality team. As the most senior Technical/Quality person across the site will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements across the manufacturing site. This position is crucial in maintaining our clients\' commitment to excellence and food safety.
Note: Please note, only candidates with eligible working visa for Ireland will be considered
Key Responsibilities
* Quality Management: Implement and oversee a robust quality management system, ensuring it meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Compliance Assurance: Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, keeping the company up to date with any changes.
* Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency in quality and compliance procedures.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality and compliance procedures, records, and reports.
* Audits and Inspections: Prepare for and lead internal and external audits and inspections.
* Training: Develop and conduct training programs to educate staff on quality and compliance requirements.
* Issue Resolution: Investigate and address any quality or compliance issues promptly, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor\'s degree in a related field (e.g., Food Science)
* 5+ years experience in a management role within the Food industry is essential
* High risk experience is a neccessity
* In-depth knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
