Our client, a reputable and growing practice in Cork, is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant/Manager to help with the growth of the business.The Senior Accountant will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services to a portfolio of clients. The role involves managing client relationships, supervising junior staff, ensuring compliance with Irish regulatory requirements, and supporting the partners in the efficient running and growth of the practice.The Role:Manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clientsPrepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with Irish GAAP / FRS 102Prepare and review management accounts and financial reportsEnsure compliance with Revenue, CRO, and other statutory obligationsIdentify and advise clients on accounting, tax, and business mattersPrepare and review Corporation Tax, Income Tax, and Capital Gains Tax computationsReview VAT returns and ensure compliance with Irish VAT regulationsSupport partners with tax planning and advisory assignmentsLiaise with Revenue Commissioners and other authorities as requiredSupervise, mentor, and review the work of trainees and junior accountantsProvide technical guidance and on-the-job trainingEnsure client work is completed efficiently, on time, and to a high standardMaintain accurate records of time, WIP, and job progressAct as a primary point of contact for clientsBuild and maintain strong, long-term client relationshipsRequirements:Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)Minimum 3–6 years' experience in professional practiceProven experience managing a client portfolioStrong technical knowledge of Irish accounting and taxAbility to manage multiple deadlines and prioritiesExcellent communication and client-facing skillsFor more information on the role, please click the link below or contact me directly on or on
